Mobile exhibitions for schools

Kinder vom Bullenhuser Damm e.V. offers two mobile exhibitions for schools, businesses, and public institutions, available for rental upon payment of transportation costs.

The first exhibition (available in both German and English) consists of a self-standing system with five walls, each printed on all sides. This allows the exhibition to be placed anywhere in a room. It shares the story of the children from Bullenhuser Damm, the search for their relatives, the annual memorial services, the international youth project for the 70th anniversary in 2015, the reflections of international youth on the subject, and concludes with the question: When does discrimination begin?

This exhibition was recognized as particularly exemplary in the "Active for Democracy and Tolerance" competition in 2017 and received the Hans Frankenthal Prize from the Auschwitz Committee in 2018.

Our new exhibition, The Children of Bullenhuser Damm – Tomorrow Must Not Be Yesterday, consists of 17 roll-ups. In addition to the story of the children, it addresses themes such as fake news, conspiracy theories, opinion-forming, anti-Semitism, and misanthropic acts. This exhibition is available in both German and English.

Workshops are offered for both exhibitions, where students are trained as peer guides.
