In 1984 Ytzhak (Jerzy) found out the fate of his brother Eduard through an article in the Israeli newspaper “Maariv”. Ytzhak Reichenbaum survived the Shoa as a child. He and his wife Bella came to the commemoration almost every year and told young people about the fate of his brother as well as his own story.
In October 2020 Bella and Eduard Reichenbaum passed away in Haifa/Israel.
