Peer-to-peer workshops for schools & project weeks
As part of the traveling exhibitions, we train students in workshops to become peer guides, who then guide other students through the exhibition.
The workshop can be held alongside lessons or as part of a project week.
The aim of the workshop is to
- To learn about the history of the children from Bullenhuser Damm
- To talk about the importance of knowledge about the Holocaust for our coexistence in Germany today
- When does group-focused misanthropy, discrimination and anti-Semitism begin?
- To talk about the significance of the Second World War and where it still influences our society and politics today
- Setting up the exhibitiontogether
- Guided tours by the students on the history of the children from Bullenhuser Damm to the topic "When does discrimination begin" in front of classmates and teachers
