Mobile exhibitions for schools

Kinder vom Bullenhuser Damm e.V. offers two mobile exhibitions for schools, companies and public institutions, which can be borrowed against payment of the transportation costs.

The first exhibition (German/English) consists of a self-standing system whose five walls are printed on all sides. The exhibition can therefore be placed anywhere in the room. The exhibition tells the story of the children from Bullenhuser Damm, of finding their relatives, of the annual memorial service, of the international youth project for the 70th anniversary in 2015, the thoughts of the international young people on the subject and ends with the topic: When does discrimination begin?

The exhibition was recognized as particularly exemplary in the "Active for Democracy and Tolerance" competition in 2017 and was awarded the Hans Frankenthal Prize of the Auschwitz Committee in 2018.

Our new exhibition "The Children of Bullenhuser Damm - Tomorrow must not be yesterday" consists of a total of 17 roll-ups and, in addition to the story of the children of Bullenhuser Damm, also includes links to fake news, conspiracy theories, opinion-forming, anti-Semitism and misanthropic acts. The exhibition is available in German and English.

Workshops are offered for both exhibitions, in which pupils are trained as peer guides.
